    A 2-day meeting entitled “Selectivity, Sustainability, Predictability: Multi-Disciplinary Issues for 21st Century Catalysis” brought together workers from a broad range of disciplines (workers in organic and organometallic catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, theoretical and computational chemistry, biocatalysis, synthetic biology, chemical engineering, spectroscopy, physical organic chemistry) from across academia and industry.

    On 28th - 29th July 2011, the Lab of the Future theme of the Dial-a-Molecule Grand Challenge organized The Smart Laboratory: Toward a National ELN meeting. During the second day discussions focused on how to deploy an ELN system across the academic environment as well as the scope of the ELN deployment. Several strategies have been discussed.
